Grilled Pears with Honey Walnuts and Orange Mascarpone ~ Meal

This little number is very interchangeable. Don’t like pear, use banana or apple. Don’t have walnuts use your favorite nut, no mascarpone in the fridge, use yogurt instead.

You can add as much or as little of each ingredient as you like, let your tummy do the talking.

Provisions Guide

For 2

  • Pear sliced in half and seeds removed

  • Coconut oil for grilling

  • 1/4 cup of walnut halves

  • 1/4 cup of your favorite muesli (GF if desired)

  • 1/4 cup of mascarpone

  • Orange - juice, and rind

  • Vanilla essence

Preparation

  1. Mix walnuts and honey and place on a tray in a 180 deg C oven for 10 mins.

  2. Meanwhile, grill pear flesh side down using coconut oil in a hot pan for 2 mins.

  3. Mix mascarpone, half an orange worth of zest and juice and a very small dash of vanilla.

  4. Put muesli on a plate with mascarpone, pear and walnuts, Enjoy!
